COVID- 19 UPDATE To all of Our Customers
Each day presents new challenges as we face the COVID-19 pandemic. We are open for business so that our community can continue to have access to groceries and essential supplies. Currently our hours of operation have not changed. Our dedicated team continues to work hard for you to provide you with safe food and a safe shopping environment. We continue to clean and sanitize work areas for your safety and our employee’s safety.
Since the pandemic began, we have had higher than normal traffic through our grocery store. This has been similar throughout the province. Because of the greater demand, some products are in short supply. Our suppliers are working hard to replenish these products. We will continue to communicate information about food supply. Please like us on FACEBOOK.
WE ASK THE FOLLOWING FROM YOU OUR CUSTOMERS.
If you have returned from outside the country or if you have symptoms of COVID – 19, please do not come to the Grocery Store. You must self isolate for 14 days as instructed by your Government and Health officials. Ask someone to get your groceries for you. If you have no one to do this, please ask us.
We ask that you try and limit your visits to the grocery store and do a larger shop than a daily shop. We ask that you send 1 person to shop rather than several from the same family shopping together.
We ask you to respect social distancing and recognize the taped areas at the checkouts.
If you bring your own re-usable shopping bags into the store that you pack your own groceries. Our employees are not allowed to pack groceries in bags that you have brought with you. We have eliminated fees on plastic shopping bags.
We have installed Plexiglas shields at our checkouts for our employee and customer’s safety.
Thank you for helping us help you.
We have temporarily closed our Hot Foods Department and will keep you posted as to when we will resume operations there.
We encourage our senior population or vulnerable customers to shop between the hours of 8 am and 9 am Monday to Fridays. This a less busier time and our staff members are available to help you if you require assistance.
Thank you and we will continue to support our community throughout this crisis.
Peter & Jacqui Knipfel
Special Senior Hours
We also would like to welcome seniors and vulnerable people to shop between the hours of 8 and 9 am Monday to Friday to allow them to avoid busier times of the day and to allow our staff to assist you if needed.
Grocery Delivery or Pickup
In an effort to keep a steady flow of groceries to our community and keep our customers and our employees safe we are offering the following service effective Monday, March 30.
We understand that it may be difficult for some people to get out to do their grocery shopping for various reasons. People may be self isolated, ill, vulnerable or busy working front lines. We are here to help you.
If you have no one like a friend or family member who can shop for you then please accept our help.
We will accept the following orders by fax, e mail or phone or fill out the form below. Please realize that fax or e mail is preferable however we understand that some people do not have access to those methods so we will accept phone orders. We prefer pick up orders but once again we will see no one stuck for groceries so delivery is an option.
In order to make this work we ask for your patience as we try and roll out this service.
